Garage Door Panel & Parts Replacement
You don't always need a new door. Replacing the damaged section or the worn part often restores the door for a fraction of the cost.

Garage doors are built from sections and dozens of replaceable parts. A dented bottom panel, a cracked section or worn rollers can usually be replaced on their own — as long as the replacement matches the door's make, model and color. On a wind-rated door in Florida, the section also has to come from the same approved product line, as our Florida hurricane door guide explains; a full replacement, unlike a section swap, needs a Florida permit.
We start by identifying your door's manufacturer and model, check whether matching panels are still available, and give you an honest recommendation: repair the section, or replace the door if that's the better long-term value.

Garage Door Panel & Parts Replacement: common questions
Can I replace just one garage door panel?
Often yes, if matching panels are still made for your door. For older or discontinued doors, replacing the whole door may be the only way to get a matching look.
Why do garage door springs get replaced in pairs?
On doors with two springs, both have done the same number of cycles. When one breaks, the other is usually close behind, and replacing both keeps the door balanced.
How long do garage door springs last?
Standard torsion springs are commonly rated for about 10,000 open-and-close cycles — roughly 7–10 years for a door used a few times a day. High-cycle springs last longer.
